Integrated open source IT systems allow the shop floor and inspection engineers to share the final approved component design, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all departments, a vitally important function that allows Quaife to easily coordinate manufacturing activity on a wide variety of projects across its two production sites at Sevenoaks and Gillingham.

Our Gillingham manufacturing hub houses an impressive high-tech automated manufacturing system. This uses three linked CNC milling machines which incorporate robotic loading to select components for machining from a choice of 32 preset pallets. With numerous accuracy and production lead time benefits, this advanced and efficient manufacturing system is designed to machine a wide variety of components, in both small and high volumes.
Significant investment in precision gear cutting machinery has resulted in improved production times and ongoing quality improvements. Recently these have been enhanced by the addition of an REM super-finishing plant, enabling the firm to offer this F1 style performance and reliability enhancing technique at an affordable cost.
Crucially all Quaife components are hand assembled and installed by skilled and experienced technicians who play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the finished product.
