Quaife is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Ford’s official tuning partner and leading Fiesta and Focus tuner, Mountune, to add the Quaife differential to its growing available performance products portfolio in key territories including the US and UK.
The Quaife ATB differential is synonymous as the transmission upgrade of choice for the serious performance and fast road enthusiast that wants to maximise the amount of power being transmitted to the driven wheels.
Extensive testing with units fitted in both of the latest Fiesta and Focus ST models – running upgraded levels of power and torque – has now led to an exclusive deal being agreed between Mountune and Quaife, covering the Mk7 Fiesta ST Quaife ATB differential (QDF57Z) and the Mk3 Focus ST Quaife ATB differential (QDF41Z).
“The Fiesta ST really benefits from an ATB differential as soon as you start to increase the torque output – the electronic interaction becomes less intrusive and this allows you to control the car in a more traditional manner” enthuses Mountune’s Marketing Manager, David Moore.
“The Focus ST has also joined the lineup as it too benefits from the installation of the unit, particularly with some of the standard electronic vehicle dynamic steering aids deactivated. Allowing the car’s power to be transmitted in a more mechanical way actually benefits the interaction and overall driving experience”, he adds.

A differential installation service is available for UK customers at Mountune HQ in Essex and via the majority of Mountune’s PRO Ford dealers across Great Britain.
